| | | Description | | | Cassia nomame is produced in the south of the Changjiang river. The
extract it provides has only been used in recent years in natural weight
reduction products. It can help reduce body weight by inhibiting the
absorption of lipids, i.e. it is a lipase inhibitor. Once the lipase is
inhibited, lipids can pass freely through the human body without being
absorbed. It also promotes the production of urine and instigates the
burning of lipids, reducing body weight. The flavanol extracted from
Cassia Nomame is a greyish yellow powder.
Cassia nomame is a lipase
inhibitor. A lipase inhibitor impairs the enzyme responsible for the
breakdown of fat, thereby blocking its function. Subsequently, fat
molecules remain undigested and unabsorbed as they move through the
gastrointestinal tract. This means their caloric content is not released
into the bloodstream. Because cassia nomame inhibits fat from being
absorbed into the bloodstream, there is less opportunity for fat to be
stored. Unlike pharmaceutical lipase inhibitors, cassia nomame nomame does
little to interfere with the absorption of fat soluble vitamins.
