Matchitecture provides a great challenge in building! The whole idea behind Matchitecture is a single element that is referred to as a microbeam and is actually a match stick. That's how Matchitecture gets their name - a combination of match sticks and architecture!
Plans are provided with this kit and what your task will be is cutting the microbeams to the correct length and gluing them together to create the finished design! 1800 match sticks are included in order to complete this model.
The Gold Rush Train by Matchitecture has a very interesting story behind it. Way back in 1849 the American Gold Rush began and over the few years that followed construction began on the Central Pacific Railroad (the first transcontinental railroad) and construction was completed in 1861.
