The aim was to take the San Francisco Exploratorium (the grandaddy of all hands-on science museums) and squeeze it between the covers of a book. Inside the book are "pages" that reflect, magnify or grow into ugly bacteria-infested messes if you spit into them (per the instructions). Seven subjects are covered, including light wave craziness, ouchless physics and hair dryer science.
