It features an enlarged 'big mouth' inlet that feeds air to a single General Electric F110-GE-129-IPE engine capable of producing 29,000-lbs. maximum thrust in afterburner. The latest F-16 can be used in the traditional 'Wild Weasel' role made possible by the inclusion of the Texas Instruments AN/ASQ-213 HARM Targeting System for SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses).
