He pioneered the use of television mass-marketing of magic effects with his wildly successful promotion of Svengali decks as TV MAGIC CARDS, selling over 17 million decks beginning in the 1960's. For over 20 years, he delighted millions of youngsters as Wizzo the Wizard on the Bozo television show. Brodien has designed magic products for Siegfried and Roy, Lance Burton and Disney. Over five million Brodien magic sets have been sold by television. We can trace the beginning of Brodien's illustrious career back to age eight. He watched a magician perform at a school assembly, and the rest is history! Soon after that fateful afternoon, he was spending much of his spare time at various magic shops in Chicago. By age 15, he secured an after-school job demonstrating magic at one of those shops. A year later, he branched into entertaining at amusement parks. It wasn't long before he was working at some of the most famous nightclubs and lounges. Eventually, he opened his own club and magic shop.
