The raised clear plastic grid means the letters stay put after placed, no more trying to reconstruct a game after the cat walks on the board! The letters are nice-sized, and made of wood. The holders include handy letter-frequency charts so you never have to wonder if all the C's have been played. Finally, the design is so tasteful, you can leave the game out, ready for action, with the letters and holders packed neatly away in the base. Everyone who has played the game at my house wants his or her own.

Deluxe Scrabble
It would be nice if the tile holders were made of wood rather than plastic. This was purchased as a gift so am assuming that the recipient is very pleased with the game.

Scrabble Deluxe
Very cheap-very poor quality. The raised grid isn't high enough to hold the tiles in place like they claim and the board itself is a flimsy vinyl that doesn't even lay flat. Very disappointed.
