This version of the famous twin-engine JU-88 bomber was heavily armed, especially towards the nose of the aircraft, so as to provide the firepower needed to attack heavy bombers, and ground targets where used for strike operations.
The JU-88 C was also developed as a night fighter: later versions fitted radar and achieved ever-higher levels of sophistication.
