This handbook contains all of the generic medications found in the Drug Information Handbook, 7th Edition. However, Canadian/Mexican Brand Names, Stability, Test Interactions, Nursing Implications, Extemporaneous Preparations, and Dietary Considerations have been excluded in order to maintain portability. The Adverse Reactions field has been modified to include only those reactions >1% unless significant or life-threatening and much of the overdose/toxicology information has been moved from the monographs to a table in the Appendix.
The outstanding cross-referencing allows the user to quickly locate the brand name, generic name, synonym, and related information found in the Appendix.
