This product is for use on the skin only. Use carefully if applying to the face. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. Use as directed, usually twice a day. For best results, apply a small amount of medication on the skin to be treated. A thin layer is all that is needed. Rub in gently. Do not use on irritated or broken skin.
Hydroquinone cream appears as small transparent, glass-like particles suspended in a cream base. It may have an abrasive effect if scrubbed on the skin vigorously. Care must be taken with each application.
If no effect is noticed after two months of treatment, notify your doctor. For best effects, avoid sun exposure. Use a sunscreen and wear protective clothing while outside.
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not apply it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Discard unused medication after the expiration date noted on the container.
