After use, rinse the brush with warm (not hot) water, shake the excess liquid from the brush and then let the brush dry in an inverted position with the hair of the brush downward.
When using the brush, pass the brush gently through the beard. Circular motion or hard pressure of the brush on the beard should not be used.
The set looks great & is of great quality. The soap brush is full & works well. However, the razor blade itself is of poor quality. It pulls at your skin, rather than making a clean cut. The blade is not a common one that you can go out & replace. I would not recommend this product.
[Editor's note: It sounds as if the blade you had was defective. The razor blade is a Trac II, and replacement blades are inexpensive and readily available wherever razor blades are sold, including most supermarkets and pharmacies.]

Nice quality. Bought as gift for my boyfriend. He too thought the razor did an awful job, until I replaced the blade with a new Trac II blade. Now he loves it! Description said the set came with soap, but it didn't. Otherwise, happy with purchase.
