Lemon Verbena - Herb Information
The flowers, leaves, and stem of lemon verbena are delicately fragrant with a slightly lemony vanilla smell that is very relaxing and refreshing when added to bath water; or dried and used in potpourri. An infusion made from leaves and flowers will improve the sheen and add highlights to dark hair. The essential oil of verbena is frequently used in healing treatments for acne because of its antiseptic properties. It can be added to cleansers and moisturizing creams but should always be used with caution on sensitive skins.
Directions
For a luxurious bath soak treatment, pour 1/2 oz. under warm running water, or apply with a sponge directly to damp skin in the bath or shower.
