We had trouble finding a bottle and nipple that my newborn son was comfortable with. I had tried the fancy expensive kinds, and then as a last resort picked up these, economical old fashioned nipples. He took to the nipple quickly.
The sensitive response nipple cuts down on the air that he swallows. You can see the bubbles rise to top when he drinks...a good sign that he isn't swallowing the air!!
