Philips CCB192AT is a multi-featured TV/VCR combination with a 19-inch screen. The combo system is housed in a flat black case, with front-firing speakers, A/V input jacks and a range of control buttons located on the front of the unit. The digital auto tracking system automatically adjusts picture and sound for optimal output. Additional adjustments can be made manually from the remote control.The combo system also offers ShowGuard Timer/Programmer Backup Memory, which stores timer and programming settings in the system's electrically erasable read-only memory (EEPROM), so they do not have to be reentered in case of power outages. Its Daylight Savings Time Adjustment feature automatically compensates for Daylight Savings Time changes in early April and late October so you don't have to reset the clock twice a year. Simply activate the Daylight Savings Time option in the Set Clock menu and forget it! The CCB192AT offers an excellent combination of features at a reasonable price.

A full auto-feature package includes power on, digital auto tracking, auto play, auto repeat, auto rewind, auto eject, auto head cleaner, and auto power off.<P> The unit comes with standard eight-event, one-year programming for the VCR, and ShowGuard timer/programmer backup memory keeps all your timer/programming safe, even through power outages. Meanwhile, SmartClock with time-zone select maintains the correct time, regularly checking and updating the time if necessary. It also resets the clock after a power failure. Daylight-savings time adjustment automatically compensates for daylight savings in early April and late October so you don't have to reset the clock twice a year; just "set it and forget it."<P> When tape playback begins, digital auto tracking seeks the optimum video and audio tracking positions for the clearest picture and sound. With automatic channel setup, the VCR tuner scans through television frequencies, automatically storing active broadcast channels into memory. Then, only channels programmed into memory are tuned using the channel up/down buttons on either the remote or front panel.
