Publisher's Notes Amelia bounces out of bed on her birthday, only to find her family seems oblivious to the occasion. Then, while gathering eggs, she finds an envelope with her name on it and a picture of the old tractor inside. On the tractor is another envelope with another clue, and so begins a treasure hunt that takes Amelia all over the farmyard, eventually bringing her to the orchard—where everyone is waiting for her to celebrate. Jones fills sun-drenched scenes with free-ranging livestock, posed, as are the pink-cheeked members of the farm family, with balletic grace.
