Applying myrrh, or myrrh-containing solutions to aching joints, alone or in combination with other herbs, may also be a reasonable thing to do, but effectiveness has never been validated in a clinical trial, and long term use is definitely associated with an increased risk of developing contact dermatitis.
Dosage: 1-15 grains of the powder; in formulas, 3-12 grams.
