Kelp Powder
I was excited about trying this product but very dissappointed in the fishy taste. I tried mixing the powder in several types of liquid but the after taste is too strong.
[Editor: Kelp powder is derived from seaweed and has a naturally fishy and slightly salty taste. For this reason, it is best to use the powder of this nutrient-rich sea vegetable in foods that will compliment its flavour. We've discovered that kelp powder is best used in soups or broths, stir-fry dishes, cucumber and dill salads and dressings, as well as numerous Asian dishes where kelp is right at home next to oyster and fish sauces. Just a little adds a subtle seafood accent while serving as an iodine-rich replacement for ordinary table salt!]
