Description
Both the leaves and bark of the boldo shrub (or tree) are used to treat liver and gallbladder diseases, gallstones, urinary tract infections, intestinal parasites, and arthritic and rheumatic conditions. Native to Perus and Chile, this shrub contains powerful alkaloids, boldine, and a volatile oil that are responsible for the chologogue, hepatic, bitter aromatic, vermifuge, mild diuretic, and urinary antiseptic properties of the herb.

Directions
Take 1 capsule, 3 times daily, with meals.
Cautions
Do not use if you have a kidney disorder, as Boldo Leaf can cause kidney irritation.
Not intended for use by nursing or pregnant women, those with an obstruction of the liver bile duct, or severe liver disease.
