Description
Echinacea is perhaps the most famous Western herb for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. While it may have little direct activity against cancer, its ability to stimulate the immune system makes it a useful addition to the formula. Echinacea has shown anticarcinogenic properties.
Dosage
Ointments and semisolid preparations containing at least 15 percent of the juice expressed from the flowers, are used in Europe to treat superficial and poorly healing wounds. Germany's Commission E recommends that only the root extract of E. Pallida be used for internal consumption, and that only the juice of E. Purpurea be used for ointments and salves. The Commission also warns that E. pallida should not be used internally for more than 3 weeks or externally for more than 8 weeks.

Take 1 capsule, 3 times daily, with meals.

Echinacea is contraindicated in those with an auto-immune disease (ie. Multiple Sclerosis, AIDS etc.) or allergies to plants in sunflower family.
