Linoleic acid is a fatty acid essential for proper growth and health maintenance. It is naturally found in some meats, cheese and other dairy products. Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is derived from the conversion of linoleic acid, which is present in pure safflower oil, to CLA. Swiss Natural Sources uses Tonalin® as the source of CLA in this product.
Mechanism of Action: (How Does It Work)
Recent research has indicated that Tonalin® CLA helps to:
Reduce body fat.
Maintain or increase lean body mass.
Clinical studies have suggested that supplementing with approximately 3 g of Tonalin® CLA per day is the most effective dose for attaining desirable body composition.
A long term study in which subjects consumed 3.4g for 12 months reported CLA to be well tolerated with no adverse effects. Several clinical studies have been conducted to measure the safety and efficacy of CLA.

CLA works
I've been on CLA for a few months and have noticed with a combined work out and a healthy diet that it works. This product wont make you lose weight when your eating like a pig, you have to help the product by being active. I have a leaner stomach and have loss inches from my mid area. In total I've lost 20 Lbs, and no I didn't starve myself...
