Glucosamine can treat and prevent the breakdown of cartilage tissue and research suggests it may delay the onset of painful conditions such as osteoarthritis of the knee. While more human clinical trials are required to better understand the mechanism and efficacy of glucosamine, promising results from animal research have been made available. Oral glucosamine supplementation on rabbits with artificially-induced osteoarthritis was shown to have "a detectable, site-specific, partial disease-modifying effect in this model of OA."

Directions
Adults: Take one caplet three times daily with water or as directed by a health care practitioner. Keep container tightly closed.
