Description
Heel Combination Preparations
In order to obtain a preparation which is highly effective on the one hand, yet low in risk and side effects on the other, the expedient solution was to unite a number of various homeopathic single-remedy medications and homeopathically single-remedy medications and homeopathically adjusted allopathic medications within one single combination preparation.
Through the multiplicity of constituents within Compositae preparations, a broad, in-depth therapeutic effect is achieved. The basis for this are the various points of action at which the constituent medications develop their efficacy.
Coping with Menopause
Scientific Background
It has been shown that 75 to 85% of menopausal women experience symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats and memory lapses. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) has been recognized to effectively relieve the symptoms of menopause. However, despite the many benefits of HRT, it has been associated with an increased risk of certain diseases. Postmenopausal women have sought non-estrogenic alternatives to HRT in order to avoid possible risks and side effects related to such therapy.
KLIMAKT-HEEL® is a homeopathic preparation that can address a myriad of complaints such as hot flashes, night sweats, and palpitations which can affect menopausal women. A study investigating the therapeutic efficacy of the antihomotoxic medications KLIMAKT-HEEL® and lGNATIA-HOMACCORD® in women with perimenopausal problems not yet undergoing HRT was compared to a group of women treated with hormones and conventional antidepressants. Results clearly indicate the therapeutic benefits are comparable with those of conventional HRT.1 In addition, HORMEEL® is often used as a basic product in the treatment of menopause as it is indicated for any functional disturbances of the female cycle.2 It helps regulate the function of the endocrine glands.
There are antihomotoxic preparations specifically designed to address emotionally-based symptoms such as NEREEL® for nervous restlessness and emotional instability. A small study has positively showed its efficacy when combined to KLIMAKT-HEEL®.3 Another medication to consider is IGNATIA-HOMACCORD® for weariness, sadness and globus hystericus (characterized by a sensation of pressure in the throat, like a ball, as if choking was eminent). On the other hand, NEURO-HEEL® is also appropriate in cases of sadness and emotional exhaustion, but is most often indicated in cases of anguish, panic attacks, and anticipative stress.
Along with homeopathy, an other interesting adjuvant therapy is oligotherapy. A multicentric study has shown that MANGANESE-COBALT Oligosol® effectively relieves women from their menopause symptoms. By the end of the study, out of the 65.3% of the participants who suffered from chronic or acute hot flushes, only 4% still remained. All other symptoms decreased accordingly as well. In their conclusion, 90% of the collaborators agreed that their patients benefited from the MANGANESE-COBALT Oligosol® treatment.4
Additional products to consider in accordance with other symptoms present: Ignatia-Homaccord® (symptoms of weariness): 10 drops, 3 times daily or 1 drinkable ampoule 3-7 times weekly. During acute symptoms, 10 drops every 30 to 60 minutes up to 12 doses daily.
Nereel® (nervous restlessness and emotional instability): 1 tablet to be dissolved in the mouth 3 times daily. During acute symptoms, 1 tablet every 30 to 60 minutes up to 12 doses daily.
Neuro-Heel® (emotional exhaustion, anguish, panic attacks, and anticipative stress): 1 ampoule 1-3 times weekly.

Directions
Adults: In general, 1 tablet to be dissolved in the mouth 3 times daily. During acute symptoms, 1 tablet every 30 to 60 minutes up to 12 doses daily.
As well consider re-establishing your constitution/terrain with trace elements: Manganese-Cobalt Oligosol®: 2 doses daily; one in the morning and one in the evening.

Cautions
During treatment with medications containing Sanguinaria canadensis, elevated levels of liver enzymes (transaminases) and bilirubin have been observed in individual cases. These symptoms abated when treatment eas discontinued. In very rare cases, gastrointestinal symptoms or skin reactions may appear as late as several days after using the medication.
Liver function tests should be performed if the medication is used for more than four weeks.
