Bianca Rosa Natural Mouse Repellent uses an effective blend of two 100% pure essential oils (nothing else has been added) known to keep mice and other small rodents away. The bottles are highly concentrated blends of pure peppermint and spearmint essential oils. It is recommended that users either apply 2-3 drops of the straight oil concentrate directly to cotton balls and place them in problem areas, or put 10-15 drops of the oils in a 20 oz spray bottle filled with water.
With the cotton ball application, that's about 100 cotton balls; with the spray bottle application, you'll get approximately 20 spray bottle applications from a 0.5 ounce bottle of concentrate. That equals roughly 4000 square feet of coverage (20 applications of a small 200 square foot room) either way, assuming one uses about 5 scented cotton balls per room. Obviously, if you choose to formulate a stronger spray or cotton ball, or simply apply more, the square footage decreases accordingly.
Gradually, the oils will lose their potency and will need to be 'refreshed' to keep the mice away. So, a cotton ball will need to be replaced after a few days, or a respray may be required daily.
Always remember to never apply oils directly to wood finishes or plastics as they will harm the surface over time. Additionally, the repellent should never be applied directly to the skin as spearmint essential oil is regarded as a mild irritant in its concentrated form.
Amd yes, we do ship to the U.K.! In our shopping cart, simply select 'United Kingdom' as your shipping country. I hope we have the honor of serving you soon!
Directions
Some people prefer to dilute the powerful oils with water in a spray bottle to spray trouble areas inside and outside the home, while others like to soak cotton balls in the oil blend and place them in strategic locations. Planting mint around the garden also repels some insects and small rodents, too. If you dislike the invasive nature of wild mint plants, try using a diluted oil spray on your prize plants!
Dilute the oil concentrate with water in a spray bottle to treat trouble areas (10-15 drops of oil per 20 oz water); add oil concentrate to cotton balls and place them in strategic locations (2-3 drops of oil per cotton ball). Replace or refresh after a few days when oil loses potency.
