Propagation: By seed, germination 20 days, self-sows freely; by root division in spring; by cuttings from young shoots at base of plant with a heel of the main plant.
Nature of Plant: Attractive for flower border; much branching yellow-green foliage like chrysanthemum; daisylike heads of flowers; aromatic leaves; good for high edging, about 18 inches.
Spacing of Mature Plants: 12 inches.
Cultural Requirements: Heavy, enriched soil in sun or shade; plants spread freely by base shoots.
Uses
Whole Herb: (Medicinal) Infusion for fevers, for colic pains, tincture applied immediately to skin bites to relieve pain, tincture diluted with water applied to skin to keep off insects.
