Description: The berries of the Sea Buckthorn plant are rich in vitamins and minerals. Because of this, the essential oil is well known for it's use on the skin. Aromatherapists have credited it with reducing wrinkles, regenerating skin cells, and for promoting the healing of skin injuries such as burns, sunburns, wounds and eczema. You will also see it in many skin care products such as creams and lotions.
Color: Golden yellow to light brown
Aromatic Description: Sea Buckthorn oil has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils.
Common Uses: Sea Buckthorn oil is a fantastic choice as part of a massage blend, an aromatherapy blend, and in all types of manufacturing.
Consistency: Typical and characteristic of carrier oils.
Absorption: Sea Buckthorn oil is readily absorbed.
Shelf Life: Sea Buckthorn oil is extremely slow to go rancid; users can expect a minimum shelf life of 2 Years with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

Bianca Rosa® natural carrier oils provide the perfect medium in which to dilute potent essential oils and "carry" them onto the skin and into the body. These deep-nourishing oils provide even distribution and absorption with light and non-sticky lubrication. Depending on the potency of the essential oil being diluted, generally, adding 1-3 drops of essential oil to every 5 mL (1 tsp.) of carrier oil is sufficient for most massage or skin care needs. Massage gently into the skin with a circular motion. Apply as needed or as directed.
