I have reflux in my stomach. I am using Nexium. Can I use CLA and Hydroxcut safely?

As we do not carry either Nexium or Hydroxycut, we are unfamiliar with their side effects or interactions with other supplements. We suggest you consult a qualified healthcare practitioner if you are currently taking any pharmaceuticals and wish to add fat-burning supplements to the mix.
A quick glance at other sites tells me that some of the side effects of hydroxycut include elevated blood pressure, elevated heart rate, headaches, dizziness, nose bleeds, blurred vision, and acne. This would concern me, as their are other supplements available that will supplement a weight loss program without the side effects.
However, the key issue here, I think, is that it's vital to address other dietary factors that may be contributing to your acid reflux condition leading to, perhaps, compromised digestion and, and in turn, weight gain. Obviously, I have no way of knowing what's going on for sure, but it seems to me that digesting and assimilating nutrients from your foods should be corrected first. I do feel that there are some dietary changes that you could make that would improve your condition and make you less reliant on the "purple pill". Nexium can certianly mask the symptoms of acid reflux disease, but it would probably be more beneficial to find out what's really going on. Then, in my opinion, you could start to introduce some fat-burning supplements.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and other foods that upset your stomach. Chamomile tea offers a very soothing alternative. Smoking, of course, is very irritating to the digestive system. Licorice root has been used in both Eastern and Western medicine for acid reflux and stomach ailments. Aloe vera and juiced cabbage are very nourish to the stomach and esophageal lining. There are, additionally, psychological and stress-related factors that will cause flare-ups, so Dr. Andrew Weil recommends relaxation and visualization therapy for GERD.
