Herbal lemon grass tea is rather new to the herbal tea world. It was discovered in North America as a caffeine free and natural herb drink. This herb received its name "lemon grass", as the flavor tastes like a perfumy lemon and the plant itself resembles a piece of long bladed grass. This herb has been tried for hundreds of years primarily in Thailand and Vietnam, as one of their most common flavorings to home made meals and in their herbal lemon grass tea.
Lemon grass in Herbal Lemon Grass Tea is high in vitamin C and essential oils. It can be purchased from Asian stores in either fresh or dried packages. This herb is amazing for a person's health and it carries many rejuvenating qualities.

Directions
Hot tea brewing method: Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 tea bag for each cup into the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea).
Iced tea brewing method (to make 1 liter/quart): Place 6 tea bags into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Steep for 5 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher straining the bags. Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. [A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced tea is to double the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water].

Two bags are better than one
Flavor is good if 2 or 3 bags are used. The tea is very weak when brewed with one bag.
[Editor: Tea is best when the water used is boiling, and the tea bag is allowed to steep 3-5 minutes. When the tea leaves are larger, as in the case of Lemongrass, best results can be attained when the tea is allowed to steep for an even longer period of time, perhaps up to 10 minutes.]
