Commonly used in veterinary medicine, Traumeel ad us. Vet is a specially formulated therapeutic agent for animals and is effective in the treatment of injuries, concussion, fractures, luxations, contusions, burns; postoperative and post-traumatic oedema and swelling of the soft tissue, haematoma; inflammatory process of various type and origin, e.g. phlegmons, abscesses, inflammation of the anal glands, otitis, fluor albus, dermatitis, conjunctivitis, mastitis; inflammatory degenerative processes and those associated with inflammation, especially of the bones and mobility apparatus such as arthritis, tendovaginitis, bursitis, synovia of the tibiotarsal joint.
Traumeel is made up of 12 botanical and 1 mineral substances. Traumeel causes no adverse renal, hepatic, cardiovascular, gastro-intestinal or CNS side effects. Traumeel is compatible with allopathic remedies and local anesthesia. Traumeel is safe for children.

Directions
Instruction for use, route and duration of administration: Traumeel ad us. Vet. For s.c., i.m., i.v., intaarticular or periarticular injection.
According to species, the daily dosage is as follows:
Horses and cattle: 5-10 mL
Foals, calves and pigs: 4-5 mL
Piglets: 2-3 mL
Sheep and goats: 1-2 mL
Large dogs: 3-4 mL
Medium-sized dogs: 2-3 mL
Small dogs and cats: 1-2 mL
Puppies: 0.5-1 mL
The dosage for intraarticular injection ranges from 1-3 mL according to the size of the joint. Intra-articular injection : from 1-3 mL depending on the size of the joint cavity. Periarticular infiltrations (around the injured area) with insulin needles, consist of small papules into which 0.5 cc is inoculated. If necessary, depending on the severity of the case, the indicated dosage is to be repeated after 24 hours. For long-term treatment of chronic affections or those with tendencies to recur, the indicated single dosage can be administered at 4-day intervals.

1 ampoule of 5.0 mL (=5g) contains: Aconitum napellus D4 0.3 mL; Aristolochia clematitis D11 0.25 mL; Arnica montana D4 0.5 mL; Atropa belladonna D4 0.5 mL; Bellis perennis D4 0.25 mL; Calendula D4 0.5 mL; Chamomilla D5 0.5 mL; Echinacea angustifolia D4 0.125 mL; Echinacea purpurea e planta tota D4 0.125 mL Hamamelis D3 0.05 mL Hypericum D4 0.15 mL Millefolium D5 0.5 mL Symphytum D8 0.25 mL Hepar sulfuris D6 0.5 mL Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni D8 0.25 mL.
Cautions
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to botanicals of the compositae family.
