Tartephedral is effective in the treatment of the following: Bronchitis, particularly of asthmatic nature, bronchial asthma, cough (which hardly eases), prolonged cough of scrofulous children, bronchial catarrh, laryngeal catarrh of different type, certain forms of whooping cough, and all types of catarrhal affections of the respiratory tract.

Directions
Adults: In general, 10 drops 3 times daily. In acute cases initially 10 drops every 15 minutes (for a period of up to 2 hours), or to be used as directed by a homeopathic practitioner or physician.
Contraindications: Allergy or hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients of Serol.
Side Effects: To date, no serious adverse effects of short or long-term consumption of the ingredients contained in Serol have been reported. However, if any should occur, consult your health care professional. Symptoms will subside by reducing the daily dosage or discontinuing use of the product.
Interaction with other medications: If you are taking prescription medication, consult your health care professional for possible interactions before taking Serol.
