LICAPS® uses new technology whereby liquid extract is encapsulated in hard gelatin capsules creating a visible liquid delivery system which helps facilitate effective absorption. LICAPS® are easy to swallow and they mask taste and smell, an important feature for herbs having disagreeable odours such as Valerian.
Valerian has been used in traditional herbal medicine as a mild sedative to relieve insomnia due to overwork, tiredness or fatigue. Valerian may also relieve nervousness, edginess, and restlessness due to fatigue.

Directions
Take one capsule three times daily, or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Each capsule contains: Standardized Valerian Extract (from 12.5 mg of 45:1 extract containing 1.25 mg total valerenic acids) Valerian officinalis - 560 mg
Cautions
Do not exceed recommended dose unless advised by a physician.
May cause drowsiness.
Avoid alcoholic beverages.
Do not operate heavy machinery or engage in activities requiring alertness.
Avoid large doses and prolonged use.
Not recommended for pregnant or lactating women or those with allergies to soya.
