Parsley Leaf has been used for centuries to combat digestive ailments and to relieve kidney and liver problems. Parsley Leaf is high in Vitamin C, and contains Calcium and Vitamin K as well. Parsley Leaf also acts as a mild laxative and diuretic. It also contains essential oils, glycoside, magnesium, calcium, beta-carotene, flavonoids, and Vitamin K. In addition, Parsley Leaf contains chlorophyll, which has been shown to be essential to healthy digestion. Parsley Leaf is also reported to be a mild aphrodisiac, and is believed by some to have anti-cancer properties. I have not been able to find any evidence to suggest that Parsley Leaf would be helpful in cases of eye diseases or eye infections.
If you are looking for an herbal product to assist with eye disease or infection, may I suggest Eyebright. As the name suggests, Eyebright is great for the eyes. It's an antioxidant herb that fights free-radical damage, especially in the eyes. This herb has a long history of use for eye infections like pink eye and styes, as well as for eye irritation, sinus infections and hay fever.
Directions
