Description
Essiac Liquid Formula! No More Need To Prepare Tea!!
15 Day Supply!
Essiac is an herbal health remedy developed by Canadian nurse Rene Caisse (1888-1978). It has reportedly healed thousands of cancer patients, including many who were pronounced "hopeless" or "terminal" by orthodox doctors. The herbal tea formula was given to Caisse in 1922 by a hospital patient whose breast cancer had been healed by an Ontario Native Indian. Caisse modified the Indian formula, named it Essiac (her name spelled backwards), and used it to treat cancer patients until the late 1970's.

Could a well person use Essiac as an overall cleanse?
Is it only intended for those with/recovering from cancer?

Absolutely! The herbs in Essiac can benefit anyone and would serve those who wished to use it as an occasional cleansing formula. As a detoxifier, acid neutralizer, blood purifier, bowel regulator, cell and organ protector, and body toner and strengthener, Essiac would be extremely effective! After all, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
The four ingredients in the Essiac formula, burdock root, sheep sorrel, slippery elm, and turkey rhubarb are often prescribed by herbalists, individually, for a multitude of conditions: burdock root is a favorite herb for healthy skin due to its ability to purify the blood; sheep sorrel is used for its diuretic and detoxifying effects; slipper elm is often prescribed for healing internal inflammation and irritation; turkey rhubarb is an excellent purgative, toning the colon, and stimulating the production of bile.
TerraVita offers a 4-herb tea formula that is an exact replica of the original Ojibwa blend - the blend from which Rene Caisse created her own Essiac. An additional 8-herb formula - the original Ojibwa recipe given to Rene Caisse before it was modified - is also available.
The most obvious concern for any healthy person taking Essiac would be the potentially harsh laxative and diuretic effects of the herbs - effects which could upset mineral levels, and create stomach or intestinal discomfort. A qualified naturopath would be able to test for allergies or other potential complications, as well. As an internal cleanse, from time to time, there shouldn't be any adverse reactions or side effects.

What is the essiac tea for? Is the tea a cure for cancer or some other illnisses?

Essiac tea is an herbal formula developed by a Canadian nurse named Rene Caisse ('Caisse' spelled backwards is Essiac). Rene administered an herbal healing tea, passed down from the Ojibwa Indians of Ontario, to her terminally ill aunt who subsequently revovered and lived twenty more years.
From there, Rene began to treat more cancer patients with continued success. Her 'cancer clinic' in Bracebridge, Ontario operated for roughly ten years, and although she successfully healed many patients, she never achieved fame or financial reward. She prepared her herbal remedy herself and offered it free to those who could no longer be helped by conventional medicine. For those with little damage to vital organs, success and recovery was almost always complete; for those with too much damage already done to vital organs, the herbal remedy could not reverse the damage, but often alleviated pain and extended life significantly.
In 1938, her herbal remedy and cancer practice came within 3 votes of being completely lawful in Canada, however a bill was rejected by Canadian parliament. Her dream was to make Essiac available to everyone who needed it.
The formula consists of burdock, sheep sorrel, slippery elm, and turkey rhubarb. These herbs are all extremely rich in vitamins, minerals, and compounds like acids and carotenoids that cleanse, heal, detoxify, restore, strengthen, oxygenate, and remove parasites and other harmful bacteria from the body.
We cannot claim that any tea will cure cancer, since the disease is far too complex and may involve dietary, environmental, hereditary, psychological or spiritual influences. This is simply too much to ask of an herbal tea. However, as part of an adjunct dietary cancer regime, this blend, backed with an impressive history, could be a valuable component. There have been several success stories from those who have used essiac, but the evidence remains anecdotal. There has never been, to my knowledge, any scientific clinical trials focusing on Essiac in a placebo-controlled environment.

Finally!
My entire family is so excited that Liquid Essiac is finally here! We have been begging for this for years! If you already use Essiac, than you understand what a sweet surprise it is to discover you no longer have to prepare the tea in batches. (If you aren't already using Essiac, you should, and now it is easier in liquid form.)
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

So Convenient!
After spending hours on end brewing Essiac tea in the past, all I can say is this liquid formula is heaven-sent! It's so easy and convenient, and best of all, portable! It also is more concentrated and therefore, seems to show positive results more quickly than the tea. My mother, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, has been taking this liquid formula for about a month now. Her energy level and appetite have increased tremendously, and she has even gained weight. Two days ago, she went out bowling with her friends! I am so glad to have found this product, and I definitely will continue to order it!

Essiac Liquid
We have been using this product for several years and are completely happy with the product. It seems to have helped keep the immune system in better shape than without it. It has been more helpful as a 'preventative' measure rather than a cure.

Essiac Liquid Formula
It is great - it has helped reduce the allergy symptoms for both my husband and me over the last couple of years. Also, we have used the liquid to help re-build the immune system of one of our pets that had gotten very ill over 3 years ago.
