Description
C-H Formula is a unique medicinal tea designed to lower cholesterol levels, safely and naturally, through the action of seven powerful herbal ingredients.
In addition to it's role in digestion and respiratory support, the bitter herb called Agrimony effectively blocks the absorption of cholesterol, while clinical trials with Artichoke Leaf suggest that it may inhibit cholesterol synthesis. Boldo Leaf, a widely known digestive aid, is a commonly used herb found in many cholesterol lowering formulas. Centaury provides liver support, an extremely important factor in lowering cholesterol, since cholesterol is synthesized by the liver. Fumitory, another herbal component in C-H Formula, is used chiefly on the stomach, liver and gallbladder, while Dandelion is included for it's action as a liver cleansing tonic. Dandelion, a folk remedy for both warts and liver spots, is known for inducing the flow of bile from the liver. It, too, is known for it's effectiveness in reducing serum cholesterol.

Directions
Fresh drawn, boiling water contains the most oxygen, thereby giving the fullest taste to tea. Water that has been boiling for some time looses the oxygen and thereby the best taste.
Allow full expansion during the infusion and easy removal after the time for steeping has elapsed.
Draw into a tea pot or kettle the best fresh water that you have available.
Warm the teapot and cups while the water is boiling.
As Agrimony is astringent, it should not be taken if constipated.
With respect to Dandelion, disomfort due to gastric hyperacidity may occur. In case of gallstones or obstruction of the bile ducts, gallbladder, or bile ducts seek professional medical advice before consumption.
At the recommended amount and according to the German Commission E Monographs, there are no known side effects or drug interactions with Artichoke. However, they also state that the use of Artichoke is contraindicated in those who are allergic to Artichokes and other members of the Compositae (e.g., daisy) family. In addition, those who have any obstruction of the bile duct (e.g., as a result of gallstones) should not employ this plant therapeutically. There have been reports of kidney failure and/or toxicity from the use of Artichoke leaves. The plant's safety during pregnancy and lactation has not been established. At the time of writing, there were no well-known drug interactions with Artichoke.
