Muramyl peptides (Muramyl Polysaccharide-Glycan Complex) are fragments of peptidoglycan from the cell walls of bacteria. The immune system recognizes that muramyl peptides are products of bacteria and responds by becoming activated to resist infection.
This resistance is nonspecific, and extends to unrelated species of bacteria, fungi, and viruses. A key mechanism of the resistance is activation of macrophages. Macrophage activation results in increased production of microbiocidal oxygen radicals such as superoxide and peroxide, and increased secretion of inflammatory cytokines.
Imm-Kine works synergistically with Immuni-T, which provides colostrum based transfer factor activity to help the immune system see what to target, it then provides the artillery for a successful attack, even where nothing else has helped. Add Wobenzymr to thin the blood enough to permit sufficient tissue penetration for maximum benefit.
MURAMIC ACID AND IMMUNITY
Muramyl peptides are fragments of peptidoglycan from the cell walls of bacteria. The immune system recognizes that muramyl peptides (containing two or more muramic acid groups) are products of bacteria and responds by becoming activated to resist infection. This resistance to infection is nonspecific, and extends to unrelated species of bacteria, fungi, and viruses. A key mechanism of the resistance to infection is activation of macrophages. Macrophage activation results in increased production of microbicidal oxygen radicals such as superoxide and peroxide, and increased secretion of inflammatory cytokines. These physiological responses also aid in combating infection. Muramyl peptides activate macrophages and other cells of the immune system. Muramyl peptides and similar agents will become more important in the future due to increasing resistance of microbes to antibiotics, and increasing numbers of patients with immunodeficiencies.1
Muramyl polysaccharide-glycan complex (MPGC), a non-toxic bacterial cell wall extract contains muramic acid moieties attached to variable-length mannose-rich polysaccharides. The mannose-rich polysaccharides promote internalization of the entire muramic acid-containing complex. Once internalized, the muramic acid moieties of the MPGC activate the macrophages. MPGC has also been shown to increase human lymphocyte proliferation, and significantly increase the production of human antigen-presenting dendritic cells in vitro.2
BACTERIAL DNA activates macrophages and activates dendritic cells and promotes priming and differentiation of CD8+ T cells.3
BETA 1,3-GLUCAN is a well-known non-specific immune stimulant derived from the cell walls of fungi.

Additional Information
The Aidan Clinic is a research-based facility that provides state-of-the-art complementary therapies to people with cancer. Our goal is to provide the best non-toxic integrative and alternative care.
Aidan has developed and pioneered a unique treatment approach designed to help stimulate a person's own immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells. Our philosophy includes the belief that defective or inadequate antigen (cell surface information) presentation and inadequate T cell recognition of tumor cells are the root cause of the development of most malignancies. We also strongly believe that people with malignancies can have a much higher requirement of vitamin C and that vitamin C, given in adequate intravenous doses, can exert potent anti-tumor effects.
We further believe that the use of effective inhibitors of angiogenesis (new blood vessel growth) is a useful anti-tumor strategy by itself and enhances the effectiveness of immune-based therapies.
Clinical research has shown that there are five basic anti-tumor strategies:
Direct cytoxicity (cell killing)
Angiogenesis inhibition (cutting off blood supply to tumors)
Apoptosis induction (programmed cell death)
Redifferentiation (cells revert back to normal)
Immune system boosting
Our goal is to induce your body to achieve these anti-tumor effects through a combination of safe, non-toxic therapies.

The essence of the current American rule on Traditional Uses is, as stated by FTC, "Claims based on historical or traditional use should be substantiated by confirming scientific evidence, or should be presented in such a way that consumers understand that the sole basis for the claim is a history of use of the product for a particular purpose."
