Description
Elecampane has been taken traditionally as a tonic herb for the digestion. It stimulates the appetite and relieves dyspepsia. Elecampane is a useful remedy for the treatment of worms. It is also useful in the treatment of chest infections such as bronchitis, chest congestion, tuberculosis, lung problems, and tonsilitis.
Dandelion stimulates the body's production of insulin, which is used in modern medicine to treat kidney problems. Water retention and gout respond well to Dandelion, as do liver problems such as jaundice. It is high in natural sodium to protect the lining of the stomach and joints, thus helping to relieve ulcers and arthritis. Sodium is known as the youth element, and without sufficient sodium in the joints, inorganic calcium builds up.
The complex interplay of internal organs, secretions, natural (friendly) bacteria, and muscular contractions can be upset at any point in the digestive/eliminative process.
