Description
Lithothamnium Calcareum Red Algae is used to absorb fat, lose weight, reduce cellulite and reduce the pain of arthritis and rheumatism. Lithothamnium, which is a sea algae, can also be used to raise the body's pH level.
Lithothamnium Calcareum dwells in the deepest waters along the continental shelf affixed on the sea bed. In these depths, needed sunlight is scarce. The red pigment works in tandem with chlorophyll to trap the scant light to produce sugars as a source of energy. These pigments are involved in the function of oxidative enzymes which control our metabolism.
Lithothamnium is a calcareous alga consisting of mineral substance by 95%. Therefore, it looks like a rock and is very often mistaken for coral. Its skeleton is mainly composed of carbonated calcium and carbonated magnesium. These two elements represent 35% of the plant (dry weight). Lithothamnium particularly concentrates the oligo elements from sea water.
Of the main active ingredients and their properties, calcium activates blood coagulation and is necessary for bone constitution. Calcium aids digestion and helps to regulate metabolism. Calcium has also shown to counteract lead poisoning. Magnesium participates in glucidic, lipidic and protidic metabolism. It intervenes in antibody synthesis and for this reason is anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and anti-stress. Magnesium combats acids, toxins, gases and impurities. Poisons are neutralized when magnesium is liberally available. Magnesium helps prevent deposits in joints. In addition, it calms nerves and acts as a natural laxative for the bowel. Both magnesium and phosphorous help restore energy and vitality.
