| | Description
Diureform is a natural formula with herbs known for their diuretic effect and their cleaning properties by reducing water retention.
Birch leaf (Betula alba): Birch is an excellent diuretic: It is recommended to prevent the formation of bladder stones, to treat edemas and water retention. Furthermore, it is recommended for treating gout, as it helps eliminate uric acid.
Boldo leaf (Peumus boldus): Scientific research has permitted us to better understand its mechanism of action. It contains boldine which stimulates secretion and elimination of bile, allowing a better food digestion. The virtues of Boldo leaves are well known today as it has become part of numerous hepato-digestive medication.
Ash Tree Leaf (Fraxinus excelsior): The chemical composition shows the presence of a flavonoid, rutoside, which has anti-inflammatory properties. The diuretic properties are due to mannitol and to the potassium salts contained in the leaves. The mucilages, also present, are a very mild mechanical laxative. These combined actions allow a stimulation of those functions of elimination by the body. Ash tree leaves, being anti-inflammatory and diuretic, are then promoted to treat rheumatisms, arthritis, gout, water retention problems and edema. Recently, it was discovered that mannitol attracts free radicals and that polyphenols are antioxidants. Such properties would allow the use of these substances for joint tissue protection, preventing their aging. | |
