Gastracide is a natural formula comprised of herbs known for their antacid properties, designed to appease stomach cramps.
Angelica root (Angelica archangelica): It has excellent antispasmodic properties, acting on colitis by appeasing intestinal spasms and pains. Angelica is a cholagogue, meaning that it promotes bile production and facilitates digestion. It prevents formation of intestinal gas, treats aerophagy and bloating.
Marshmallow Root (Althaea officinalis): Soothes inflamed tissue in the digestive system, helping conditions such as inflammations of the mouth, gastritis, peptic ulceration, and colitis.
Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile): An anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, anti-spasmodic. This oil is used to calm and soothe.
