Directions
As a dietary supplement take one tablespoon (15ml) 1 to 2 times daily, preferably with meals. Suitable in salad dressing oil, sauces, peanut butter, yogurt and protein shakes. It can also be used in place of butter on rice, potatoes or toast. Gradually increase your intake if desired.
Other Ingredients: Certified Organic Flax Seed Oil (unrefined, non-GE), Particulate Matter (source of lignans), and a Proprietary Blend of Rosemary Extract, Mixed Tocopherols, Ascorbyl Palmitate, and Citric Acid as a Natural Antioxidant
Additional Info: Organically grown and processed in accordance with the California Organic Foods Act of 1990
Cautions
Because lignans have phytoestrogen and estrogen antagonist properties, they many affect the reproductive development of offspring. Pregnant and lactation women should consult with a qualified health practitioner before use.
Additional Information
NOW Foods is proud to announce the receipt of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification from the National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA). The NNFA GMP Certification Program is designed to verify compliance of member suppliers of dietary supplements with a standardized set of good manufacturing practices (GMPs) developed by NNFA. This program is based upon third party inspections of member suppliers and comprehensive audits of their GMP programs in the areas of Personnel, Plant and Grounds, Sanitation, Equipment, Quality Operations, Production and Process Controls, Warehouse, Distribution, and Post-Distribution Practices. This program ensures that all elements of the manufacturing process are reviewed to provide reasonable assurance that processes are sufficiently controlled so that products meet their purported quality.
