Overview:
Aidyn Chronicles is the story of a boy named Alaron. Orphaned when he was a baby, Alaron was taken in by the kindly King Lloyd and raised in the King's castle as a squire. The game begins with the 17-year-old Alaron being sent on a patrol into the wilderness, where he is ambushed and left for dead. He is found by a wise old woman named Oriana, who nurses him back to health, but detects something strange about him. Alaron has been poisoned by the goblins, but the poison seems beyond the reach of normal healing.
For Alaron, it seems, there is only one hope - the Mirari. This strange, ancient race is known for their ties to the earth and nature. Their healing abilities are legendary, although they are not always willing to help strangers. Thankfully, an alliance between the people of Iden and the Mirari was formed years ago when warriors from the castle rode to the defense of Erromon, the capital of the Mirari. For this reason, the King hopes that Alaron will be able to find help there. Selecting a group of companions to accompany him, Alaron begins the journey to Erromon.
Little does Alaron know that this is only the beginning of his journey. The answers he seeks are found with the wizards, but the answers only lead to more questions. Mysterious forces are stirring for the first time in thousands of years, and Alaron now finds himself to be the focus. Who is the necromancer that left the wizards' brotherhood, and what does he want? Why are fearsome Chaos monsters suddenly roaming the land? And who - or what - is the mysterious shadow that seems to be following Alaron....?
