Pygeum africanum is a tall evergreen tree that grows in Southern Africa. The brown bark has been used by the tribal peoples for hundreds of years and is now extracted for guaranteed potency and quality.
Saw Palmetto Berries come from a small palm tree which grows in the southeastern US. It has been used by Native Americans and researched in Europe and Japan, where it is widely consumed.
Pygeum is standardized to contain 13% total sterols. Saw Palmetto is standardized to contain 85-95% fatty acids and sterols.
