HeatherWorks is a Canadian company specializing in the research, development, production and commercialization of innovative hair care products for the prevention of hair loss and improvement of hair regrowth in both women and men.
HeatherWorks' hair loss prevention strategy is based upon a suite of organic hair care products specially formulated to effectively neutralize uric acid and 5 Alpha Reductase DiHydroTestosterone, or "DHT", the commonly accepted cause of hair loss in men and women.
HeatherWorks' hair regrowth organic solution has been specially formulated to soothe and bio-organically massage and stimulate hair stem cells to return to normal strong and thick hair regrowth DNA activity.
The Company's products are the direct result of years and years of scientific research and development. The current suite of products has been undergoing trials and refinements since 1995.
Commencing August 1999, HeatherWorks' Phase II on-line study began in an innovative fashion. An unlimited number of study participants have been able to register for the trials via the internet, fax, or regular post. Each participant receives one month's supply of hair loss prevention shampoo and hair regrowth solution free of charge. Participants are self-monitoring, self-administering and self-reporting. Participants are asked to answer a specific set of questions at 2, 4, 8, 12 and 16 week intervals. All unedited detailed and statistically summarized data are reported on the HeatherWorks WWW site on an ongoing basis.
