This salt is not present in cells; it is exclusively found in the intercellular fluid. It assists in and helps regulate the elimination of superfluous water.
Deficiency may result in bilious conditions, build up of water in connective tissue, yellow water secretions on the skin, and a distinct coating at the base of tongue.
Dr. W.H. Scheussler's Biochemic Theory is the groundwork for the Hyland's Cell Salts. According to Doctor Schuessler, certain symptoms can emerge when cells become deficient in one or more "salt." It follows that when the "salt" is replaced, the symptoms can be relieved.
Note: Deficiency symptoms are outlined by Dr. W. H. Schuessler in his Biochemic Theory of Medicine. It is important to note that symptoms can result from causes independent from deficiencies of the particular salt under discussion. It cannot be guaranteed that the symptom will disappear upon adding back the particular salt to your nutritional supplements.
