This salt is the most abundant in the body and is essential to proper growth and nutrition. It gives solidity to the bones and has an affinity for albumen with which it builds new blood cells.
Deficiency may play an important part in bone diseases, defective nutrition and poor dentition. The salt possesses restorative power after acute diseases making it of particular value to the elderly.
Dr. W.H. Scheussler's Biochemic Theory is the foundation of the Hyland's Cell Salts. According to Dr. Schuessler, when cells become deficient in one or more "salt," certain symptoms appear. When the "salt" is replaced, the symptoms are relieved.
Note: The symptoms of deficiencies are those outlined by Dr. W. H. Schuessler in his Biochemic Theory of Medicine. It should be noted that these symptoms can be due to causes completely apart from deficiencies of the particular salt under discussion. Adding the particular salt to your nutritional supplements will not necessarily guarantee the disappearance of the symptom.
