Description
MSM (MethylSulfonylMethane) is found in many foods and in the bodies of animals and man. Due to the high organic sulfur content (34% by weight) of the MSM molecule, much of the body's sulfur requirement may be obtained using this supplement. Sulfur is one of the body's most abundant minerals, supplying the building block for amino acids, vitamins, hormones and "physical" structures including collagen, skin and nails.
Clinical studies have demonstrated that MSM supplementation may reduce musculoskeletal pain/inflammation associated with rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, gout and tendinitis. Pain and inflammation due to interstitial cystitis and scleroderma may also be reduced using MSM. The symptoms of allergies may also be alleviated by MSM supplementation, possibly by the MSM molecule attaching itself to histamine receptors.

smell it on me. I feel less pain in my joints but... [Editor: MSM does have a scent that some people are sensitive to. It sounds like you are extremely sensitive to it. You may find that different brands of MSM are less disturbing to you. Since you feel that MSM is helping your joint pain, it would be worth the effort to experiment! Good luck!]
