Description
You feel nervous and irritable? You sometimes experience memory loss or sudden fatigue, cramps and spasms, or a tingling sensation in the extremities? It could be a sign of Magnesium Deficiency.
Among other circumstances, seasonal changes, weight-reducing diets and intellectual overworking can put a strain on your nervous system. BIOMAG can reduce those symptoms. So, if you are overworked and your memory starts playing tricks on you, chew 2 tablets of BIOMAG before breakfast every morning and prior to going to bed every night, for one full month.
BIOMAG is an association of homeopathic remedies indicated in the treatment of stress, anxiety, memory loss, cramps, psych-asthenia. The components of BIOMAG act in perfect synergy and complement each other.
BIOMAG re-starts the metabolism of magnesium. Its mode of action is different from classical supplemental treatments: it stimulates the intra-cellular passage of magnesium available in food.
BIOMAG's vocation is to re-educate the cell by allowing it to self-absorb the elements it needs.
BIOMAG does not present any risks of overload or digestive inconveniences, and can be used by all types of patients. It is therefore perfect for teenagers, pregnant women, athletes, and the elderly.
BIOMAG comes in sub-lingual dissolving tablets for optimum results.
BIOMAG's efficacy, its tolerance, its capacity to increase the level of cerebral magnesium and its ability to improve the absorption and retention of magnesium have been the focus of many clinical studies.

I am 46 years old and I am going through menopause. I have a hard time falling asleep and wake up several times a night. Someone recommended BIOMAG magnesium tablets for this sleep disorder. What are your views regarding this product for "insomnia"?
Thank you.

BioMag homeopathic pellets are more often taken for cramps or spasms, but some people do find them beneficial for sleep disorders. Some research suggests that there is a link between numerous sleep disorders and magnesium deficiency. The combination of calcium and magnesium are commonly taken before bedtime as both a muscle and nervous system relaxant.
Well known herbs with mild sedative effects include valerian root, chamomile, passion flower, hops, and lemon balm leaf. The hormone, melatonin, is also relied upon as a sleep aid, but should not be taken on a daily basis. Obviously, you should avoid foods and beverages containing sugar, caffeine, and any other stimulants like nicotine before bed. Also, make sure you are getting adequate daily exercise and go to bed and wake up at consistent times throughout the week.
Relaxation techniques and yoga are also useful tools for getting a better night's sleep. Finally, consider you sleep environment: is it sufficiently quiet? Is it a bit too warm? (cooler is better!) Is it dark enough? Would some soothing music or relaxing sounds help? Try and deal with insomnia in much broader terms, addressing your lifestyle and environment, rather than looking for the 'magic pill'. Nevertheless, a few well chosen supplements and dietary modifications may indeed produce some fast results!

Is it safe to take 250mg of magnesium 3 times a day for a specific reason i.e. treatment for gall bladder?

The closest dosage we carry would be Magnesium Citrate 200 mg and the suggested daily dosage for that product is to take two tablets daily, preferably with meals.
I have been unable to find any evidence that Magnesium is effective at treating the gallbladder. We do carry a product that is called Gallbladder Support, however, and it is specifically designed to support the gallbladder and help it to achieve its optimal function. This product is a blend of several herbal ingredients that, when combined, assist one another in treating disorders of the gallbladder.
