This salt does not appear in the cells, only in the intercellular fluid. It aids and regulates the elimination of superfluous water.
Deficiency may result in bilious conditions, accumulation of water in the connective tissue, yellow water secretions on skin, and a coating at base of tongue.
Dr. W.H. Scheussler's Biochemic Theory is the foundation of the Hyland's Cell Salts. According to Dr. Schuessler, when cells become deficient in one or more "salt," certain symptoms appear. When the "salt" is replaced, the symptoms are relieved.
Note: The symptoms of deficiencies are those outlined by Dr. W. H. Schuessler in his Biochemic Theory of Medicine. It should be noted that these symptoms can be due to causes completely apart from deficiencies of the particular salt under discussion. Adding the particular salt to your nutritional supplements will not necessarily guarantee the disappearance of the symptom.
