This salt is found in blood, muscles, nerve, and brain cells and in intercellular fluid. Its primary role is the catalysis of lactic acid and emulsification of fatty acids.
Deficiency may be characterized by creamy golden-brown exudations and the tongue is similarly coated.
Dr. W.H. Scheussler's Biochemic Theory is the foundation of the Hyland's Cell Salts. According to Dr. Schuessler, when cells become deficient in one or more "salt," certain symptoms appear. When the "salt" is replaced, the symptoms are relieved.
Note: The symptoms of deficiencies are those outlined by Dr. W. H. Schuessler in his Biochemic Theory of Medicine. It should be noted that these symptoms can be due to causes completely apart from deficiencies of the particular salt under discussion. Adding the particular salt to your nutritional supplements will not necessarily guarantee the disappearance of the symptom.
