Description

Cranberries grow as small trailing evergreen shrubs and are found in areas ranging from damp bogs to mountain forests. Research indicates that cranberry has a bacteriostatic effect, a mechanism by which urinary tract infections are prevented or treated by the addition of cranberries to the diet. The juice from the berries has also been reported to aid in decreasing the rate of urine degradation and odor formation in the incontinent.

The cranberry is a low-bush evergreen shrub cultivated in the damp bogs of the Great Lakes region, New England and parts of south-eastern Canada. Indigenous people of North America introduced cranberry first to the early Pilgrims in the 17th century and has since become a customary part of the traditional Thanksgiving feast.

Directions

Drink two to three cups daily or as directed by a health professional. Infusion: Pour one cup (8oz / 240mL) of boiling water over a tea bag and allow to steep, covered, for ten minutes. The temperature of the water used and the length of steeping time greatly influence the yield of beneficial components extracted from the herbal mixture. For maximum benefit, please follow these directions carefully.

Ingredients

Roselle hibiscus flower, cranberry concentrate, German chamomile flower, rose hip, uva ursi leaf, cleavers herb, althea root, peppermint leaf, stevia leaf.

Label Information

Please taste your tea before adding sweeteners. The tea's natural flavor is often just right.
To preserve freshness always store herb teas in a cool, dark place. This box is safety-sealed with a protective wrapper. If the protective wrapper is torn or missing, do not purchase this product.

Additional Information

From your first cup to your last, individually wrapped and sealed tea bags gives you the assurance that the medicinal nature of the herb remains intact. Most tea companies avoid the extra expense of individually wrapping and sealing their tea bags because it takes time, adds cost, demands tighter quality controls and requires patience in tea-making. Traditional Medicinals, on the other hand, wouldn't do it any other way. They believe that freshness sealed tea bags are your best guarantee for consistent quality and effect. Again, and again, and again!

To demonstrate the difference that individually wrapped tea bags can make, try this simple test. Take an individually wrapped tea bag and give it a good thrashing. Smell anything? Not likely. Now, tear it open. Ahhhhh! Now that's the smell of a fresh tea with all the delicate volatile oils and beneficial characteristics still intact and ready to go to work. When you need a tea that delivers a consistent benefit look no further than Traditional Medicinals. And make sure you're getting your money's worth. Again, and again, and again...

Traditional Medicinals is a family-owned company that has been formulating and producing medicinal herb teas since 1974. Traditional Medicinals produces all of its teas according to FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) in a modern manufacturing facility and offer nearly forty different herbal tea products to meet a wide variety of health needs. Their formulas are based on well-defined systems of traditional herbal medicine in use throughout the world today. Traditional Medicinals has always cherished the opportunity to introduce people to the wondrous workings of the natural pharmacy of plants. Equally, the company sees that a socially and environmentally responsible business ethic can be included in a successfully run business.
