Description
Athletic performance
Homeopathic Arnica is helpful for bruising, tissue-damage, shock, and soreness. If taken shortly after an injury occurs, both pain and swelling may be reduced, and healing can take place more quickly and efficiently. Conditions needing Arnica are usually worse from touch and heat. For sprains or deeper injuries that require days or weeks to heal, another remedy may follow Arnica. (Some athletes take Arnica "preventively" before a workout, to reduce the tendency toward soreness. Gels and ointments containing the herbal form or very low dilutions may be soothing to sore muscles.)
Backache
Arnica is a remedy with a well-known reputation for its usefulness in injuries and pain to soft tissue and muscles. Applied topically in either gel or ointment form (and in conjunction with internal use of Arnica 6c), topical Arnica can be useful for relieving pain.
Broken bone support
This remedy is useful for reducing the pain and swelling that accompany any new injury, and should be taken as soon as possible after a break occurs. It may also be helpful in calming the person, since breaking a bone is traumatic as well as painful. Doses may be taken frequently, according to how the person feels. Arnica may be used for several days while pain and soreness are prominent. Another remedy may be indicated later, to encourage proper healing of the bones and surrounding tissues.
Bruising
This is the primary remedy for new, traumatic injuries - including bruises caused by impact with blunt objects (from simple contusions to concussions), early stages of sprains and strains, and bruise-like soreness after muscular exertion (such as physically-taxing work, athletics, or childbirth). The symptoms typically feel worse from touch and motion. Arnica is also helpful for controlling soreness, bleeding, and tissue-bruising related to surgery and dental work.
Burns
This is a valuable first-aid remedy to help reduce pain and swelling and prevent the onset of shock after any injury. Another remedy that is more specific to the burn should be considered after Arnica.
Bursitis
This remedy is especially useful when bursitis is related to traumatic injury or strain. The affected area feels bruised and sore, and the person tries to avoid being touched, because of pain.
Carpal tunnel syndrome
This remedy can be used for flare-ups of inflammation or new injuries caused by repetitive use of the fingers and wrists. The area feels bruised and sore, and cramping may occur. External application of herbal Arnica lotion or ointment may help to ease the swelling and soreness, while other remedies are used internally.
Dental support
This is a useful first-aid remedy for any situation involving bruising and tissue damage. Some dentists recommend that patients take it both before and after stressful dental work, including dental surgery. Arnica may be used as long as soreness lasts, or followed by another remedy aimed at more specific symptoms.
Eye injuries/eye strain
This remedy can bring relief to a person with a bruised, sore feeling in the eyes after closely-focused work or from looking into the distance (sightseeing, watching movies, etc. ) The person may feel a need to keep the eyes open, getting dizzy when closing them.
Fibromyalgia
This remedy is indicated when any body area feels bruised and sore, after exertion, overuse of muscles, or injury. Sometimes Arnica is enough to soothe a chronic condition; often, other remedies follow Arnica.
Gout
Although this remedy usually comes to mind for injuries, it can also be very helpful for discomfort that comes with gout. Pain is sore and bruise-like, and it hurts to walk. The person may be afraid to be approached or touched, because of pain.
Hemorrhoids
Sore, bruised-feeling hemorrhoids may be relieved with this remedy, especially when straining or over-exertion (for instance, childbirth or heavy lifting) has brought on the hemorrhoids.
Injuries
This is the major remedy for new traumatic injuries - especially bruises, sprains, and concussions. Symptoms are worse from touch and motion. Arnica can be helpful for painful bruising and tissue-damage caused by surgery and dental work - given preventively before an anticipated injury, and used to treat the soreness afterward. It is also helpful in preventing shock.
Osteoarthritis
Chronic arthritis with a feeling of bruised soreness can indicate a need for this remedy. Pain is worse from touch, and may occur in joints that were injured in the past.
Pregnancy and delivery support
This remedy is often indicated for relief of soreness that comes from physical exertion and muscle strain. It is also useful for soreness after labor and delivery, and for hemorrhoids that follow childbirth.
Rheumatoid arthritis
Chronic arthritis with a feeling of bruising and soreness may be helped by this remedy. The painful parts feel worse from being moved or touched. (Herbal Arnica gels and ointments may also help to soothe arthritic pain when applied externally to areas of inflammation and soreness.)
Surgery and recovery support
This remedy is useful for all new injuries, and can help reduce soreness, bruising, tissue damage, and bleeding related to surgical procedures. Arnica can be taken the night before an operation, and is also helpful for bruising, swelling, and soreness during recovery.
Varicose veins
When this remedy is indicated, the legs look bruised, or black and blue, and the swollen veins are very sore to touch. The legs feel deeply sore all over and are also worse from motion. Lying down may bring relief.

The letters 'X' (or 'D' in Europe) and 'C' are used to represent the roman numerals 10 and 100, respectively. These numbers represent dilution ratios. So, X represents a dilution rate of 1:10 and C represents a dilution rate of 1:100. A C dilution translates into one part plant-based active ingredient to one hundred parts of a medium (alcohol, for example). '30' in 30C represents how many dilutions the mixture has undergone; the more successive dilutions, the less of the active ingredient, and therefore the more potent the mixture becomes.
This intriguing underlying principal which seems to fly in the face of science has been a source of controversy for many years as homeopathy is explained in terms of 'energy-based healing' and, thus, obviously problematic for those in the scientific community. The theory is that extremely minute, trace quantities of the plant material carry an energy imprint promoting healing on a deeper, more significant level.
The vaccine-like effects of homeopathy run counter to traditional herbal healing: The theory states that 'the proper remedy for a patient's disease is that substance that is capable of producing, in a healthy person, symptoms similar to those from which the patient suffers.' This is referred to as the 'Law of Similars'. For this reason, some widely used homeopathic materials including bee venom (Apis mellifica), poison ivy (Rhus toxicodendron), and mercury (Mercurius vivus), that would otherwise be detrimental to our health in vitamin or herbal dosages, are beneficial in treating conditions with similar symptomology.
Directions
Select the remedy that most closely matches the symptoms. In conditions where self-treatment is appropriate, unless otherwise directed by a physician, a lower potency (6X, 6C, 12X, 12C, 30X, or 30C) should be used. In addition, instructions for use are usually printed on the label.
Many homeopathic physicians suggest that remedies be used as follows: Take one dose and wait for a response. If improvement is seen, continue to wait and let the remedy work. If improvement lags significantly or has clearly stopped, another dose may be taken. The frequency of dosage varies with the condition and the individual. Sometimes a dose may be required several times an hour; other times a dose may be indicated several times a day; and in some situations, one dose per day (or less) can be sufficient.
If no response is seen within a reasonable amount of time, select a different remedy.
Take 3 pellets 3 times a day.
Homeopathic medicines are safe and remarkably free from side effects. Your condition, however may require special care, so please observe the following: Do not take this product for pain for more than 10 days(adults) or 5 days(children) unless directed by a doctor. If pain gets worse, if new symptoms occur, or if redness or swelling is present, consult a doctor because these could be signs of a serious condition. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Warning--Keep out of the reach of children.

Cautions
In order to maintain the potency and freshness of these products, it is very important to store them properly. They need protection against light, high temperatures and humidity, and, after use, are best stored in a small kit or bag.
Avoid opening a tube or any other container of homeopathic medication in a room where perfumes or strong odors are present. And, needless to say, keep them away from any cigarette smoke.
Additional Information
Homeopathy is a medical system based on the belief that illness can be cured by taking a minute dose of a substance that, if taken by a healthy person, would produce symptoms like those being treated. Homeopathy employs a variety of plant, animal, and mineral substances in very small doses to stimulate the body's natural healing powers and to bring the body back into balance.
