Description
Citrimax is a standardized all-natural plant extract rich in (-) hydroxycitric acid (HCA). The highest concentrations at HCA are found in the fruit rind of Garcinia cambogia also known as Malabar Tamarind or Goraka, a species of plant that grows primarily in South Asia. This naturally occurring form of HCA exhibits unique properties by helping to curb the appetite, reducing food intake and inhibiting the production of fats and cholesterol. HCA suppresses appetite safely and effectively by working with the body's own natural processes, and will not cause side effects.
Glucose is produced in the body when carbohydrates are digested. If glucose is not used immediately for energy, it is converted into glycogen until the glycogen stores (liver and muscle) are full. Once full, the excess glucose is broken down into fat and cholesterol. HCA works to temporarily inhibit the enzyme responsible for this fat and cholesterol production. With glucose continuing to convert to glycogen, the brain is signalled that the stores are full and the result is a decreased appetite and reduced food intake.
